A picture paints a thousand words, right? Publishing authentic photos of our pupils’ learning experiences are an important part of how we celebrate and promote our educational offer to local students and families, but we also know that it’s increasing important to do this as safely and fairly as possible.
Promotional photos for 2026-27
We have worked with our Trust’s central services team to take new promotional photos of our academy, including photos of your child. We really value having authentic photos of our students and their learning, and we believe this is important for you when choosing a school for your child.
Your child’s safety comes first
To present and promote the academy in print and online, while safeguarding our young people, we aim to:
- Publish approx. 10 promotional photos each year in print and online
- Obscure faces to reduce risk for individuals
- Keep then replace photos every two academic years
- Never use full names of pupils in photos
- Follow linked academy safeguarding/privacy guidelines
