Year 11 Leavers Day and Prom
Published: Mon 13 July 2026It has been a half term to remember for our Year 11 students at COLAI. All their hard work during this academic year was celebrated on their final day celebrations. Students had the opportunity to sign each other’s shirts and write messages of goodwill, wishing each other luck and success for the future.
The year group then had a chance to further celebrate their time at the Academy by attending the Year 11 prom. For one night, the atrium in the Academy was transformed into a dance floor fully equipped with party decorations, a catering team, DJ, photobooth and even a red carpet.
The students thoroughly enjoyed themselves and made it a night to remember. A huge thank you to all the staff involved to make it such a special occasion for the students. We look forward to seeing the Year 11 students back at the Academy to pick up their GCSE results on August 20th 9:00am – 11:00am.
