Careers Day

On Wednesday 10th December the Academy held it’s annual Careers Day where we were delighted to welcome over 30 companies to share a range of career pathways. Students got the opportunity to hear from speakers who work in a variety of industries, including finance, law, film production and the armed forces to name a few. Our Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students were then invited to a careers fair in the afternoon where they had the chance to ask more questions about the types of apprenticeships, training and careers that are available within different industries.
Our next key careers event is the launch of Year 10 work experience, which will take place in January. Please look out for further details and contact us if you or a company you know can support in providing a placement for one of our students.
