Opened in September 2008, the City of London Academy – Islington is an 11 – 19 Academy sponsored by the City of London Corporation and City University. Our aim is to become a centre of excellence for Business and Enterprise. The Academy philosophy and values are focused on developing critical thinking, creativity and leadership through challenging entrepreneurial teamwork assignments. Community engagement is also a key part of our role as a local community school.
