All lessons are designed to engage and motivate students and challenge them to achieve their personal best. Each year the skills and tactics taught in the lessons get progressively more complex. Lessons are delivered in a safe and supportive environment to help all student’s progress.
Students are graded with end of module assessments, using all the skills and techniques they have been taught throughout the block.
Years 10 & 11
In years 10 and 11 core PE focuses more on games activities rather than the learning of skills. Students will still take part in a wide range of activities, staying with the same activity for half a term before switching. Students will be assessed on their levels in an assessment lesson, and their effort.

The teacher of the class will choose which modules to deliver depending on what is most suited to the class. This course is ideally suited to anyone who enjoys sport.
