Selection of places for the City of London Academy, Islington is carried out by CEA @ Islington. The Academy will be informed by CEA @ Islington why a child has not been offered a place.  All parents are allowed to appeal.

Success in an Appeal is not guaranteed; places are offered at the Academy under strict criteria (see Admissions Policy/Procedure).

If you wish to make an Appeal, please complete the Appeals Application Form which you can obtain direct from the Academy.  Guidance notes are included with the form.

The Academy will consider all Appeals.

CEA @ Islington lay down the date each year by which Appeals for places in Year 7 have to be returned by. Please refer to CEA @ Islington – 0207 527 5661. Appeals will not be accepted after this date.
